Please read and follow these guidelines to ensure a safe, disciplined, and productive academic environment.

Attendance & Punctuality

  • Maintain regular attendance in classes, tutorials, and practical sessions.
  • Carry your institute ID card and present it when asked by staff.
  • Be punctual; late entry may not be permitted once the session starts.
  • Minimum attendance requirements (as per university/board norms) must be met to appear in examinations.
  • Submit leave applications in advance for planned absences; medical leave should include valid documents.
  • Attendance in laboratory sessions is mandatory; missed practicals may require compensatory work.

Academic Conduct

  • Respect classroom decorum and follow faculty instructions at all times.
  • Mobile phones must remain on silent mode; usage during teaching hours is not permitted.
  • Maintain academic integrity; plagiarism and unfair means are strictly prohibited.
  • Submit assignments and internal assessment work within the given deadlines.
  • Keep notebooks, lab records, and course materials updated and ready for checking.
  • Participate actively in seminars, presentations, and academic activities as scheduled.

Examination & Evaluation

  • Appear for internal assessments, practical exams, and university/board exams as per the timetable.
  • Carry admit card/ID and required stationery for examinations.
  • Follow invigilator instructions; any unfair practice will invite disciplinary action.
  • Maintain silence in examination halls and ensure orderly entry/exit.
  • Practical records, project reports, and viva requirements must be completed before practical exams.
  • Result-related queries should be raised through the official institute process only.

Laboratory Safety

  • Wear lab coat and other required protective equipment during practicals.
  • Follow SOPs and handle chemicals, glassware, and instruments carefully.
  • Do not perform unauthorized experiments or operate equipment without supervision.
  • Maintain cleanliness of benches and return instruments to their designated place.
  • Report breakages, spills, or injuries immediately to the lab in-charge.
  • Do not consume food or beverages inside laboratories.

Library Rules

  • Maintain silence and a peaceful study environment inside the library.
  • Books must be issued/returned as per library timings and rules.
  • Fine will be applicable for late return, loss, or damage of library materials.
  • Handle books and journals carefully; do not mark, tear, or deface pages.
  • Use digital resources responsibly and follow access policies.
  • Keep personal belongings as per library instructions; the institute is not responsible for loss.

Discipline & Campus Conduct

  • Respect faculty, staff, visitors, and fellow students; maintain good behavior on campus.
  • Ragging is strictly prohibited; any incident will be dealt with as per anti-ragging rules.
  • Smoking, alcohol, and banned substances are strictly prohibited on campus.
  • Do not damage institute property; penalties may apply for vandalism.
  • Follow dress code and maintain personal hygiene and professional appearance.
  • Maintain cleanliness; use dustbins and follow campus hygiene guidelines.

Hostel Rules (If Applicable)

  • Follow hostel timings, entry/exit rules, and visitor policies strictly.
  • Maintain discipline and quiet hours; avoid disturbances to other residents.
  • Keep rooms and common areas clean; maintain hostel property responsibly.
  • Do not keep prohibited electrical appliances or hazardous items in rooms.
  • Any medical or emergency issues must be reported to the hostel authority immediately.
  • Compliance with hostel fee schedules and notices is mandatory.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow institute safety instructions during drills or emergency announcements.
  • Do not share personal documents or login credentials with others.
  • Follow the institute’s grievance and disciplinary process for reporting issues.
  • Any misconduct on social media that harms the institute’s reputation may invite action as per policy.
